Question: In 2Corinthians 4:3-4, who is god of this world that has blinded the minds of unbelievers that the light must not shine? Who is the light and the image of God? How is the good news veiled comparing with John 17:3?
The god of this world, is (Jhn.14:30, 12:31 & 2Cor. 4:4: KJV:) (Satan): whose unbelieving minds the god of this world hath blinded, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Satan is also called the "prince of the power of the air" in Ephesians 2:2. He is the "ruler of this world" in John 12:31. These titles and many more signify Satan’s capabilities. To say, for example, that Satan is the "prince of the power of the air" is to signify that in some way he rules over the world and the people in it.
Question: What does John 12:31 mean?
When people allow Satan, and/or his agents (demons) access to their minds and lives; automatically their minds are covered by a Satanic veil; which excludes all truth of Almighty God!
It is notable that Almighty God placed a “Veil” over the understanding of Israel, when they rejected Christ Jesus at Acts 28:25–28; which will not be removed until the events of Zech. 12:10!
God’s counter force in this Age time is the Holy Spirit of Truth; The Restrainer; The Helper; The Comforter; Who Christ Jesus sent to Earth after His Ascension! He at present is “restraining” the maximum power of Satan’s evil; but He will be removed prior to the end days Tribulation!
